What is the best way to handle your income, bank accounts and other financial information? While your parents might have had a special notebook or calendar for that, it is much easier to just use a computer today. We have taken a look at the Mac-version of an application called GnuCash, but it is also available for Windows.

Personally, I am not the biggest money expert in the whole world, but it seems like GnuCash comes with a solid amount of features. Unfortunately, the user interface has a very poor design with really boring colors, and the application also seemed to be unstable at times, when tested it on a MacBook Pro. The Danish translation of the software is also not complete in every part of the program.

GnuCash seems like a great application, but we were very disappointed with the user interface. You can try it to see if you agree with us, but we can not really recommend it to our users based on our experience.
